I'm Engaged!!!

Its Christmas day and everyone except Kirt, Lindsey and Colton are there. My neice and nephew just finished opening there presents fromm grandpa and grandma and we are all sitting there talking then out of no where chad comes in with this big present. I was thinking to myself..."What the heck is that?" Chad hands me the gift and I start to read the comment of the box...as I open the gift there is other gift and another comment on that gift....well this goes on for a few more boxes. Then I get to the last box and open it. Inside is a camera case to go with my camera Chad got for me for christmas. Well at first I didnt see the ring cliped to the chain on the case so I go on and open the camera case and inside is a memory card and I told chad thank you and chad just looked at me and then I looked at the outside of the box and there is the ring!!!! I turned towards Chad and he said " Ashley Will You Marry Me?" Of course I said YES!!! And then I gave him a big kiss (twice) and a huge hug!!! Everyone was cheering and so excited!!! I am really glad he did it in front of my family because now i have all these pictures and a video of the whole thing!!!! I called family and let them know and everyone is so excited and happy for Chad and I! I am so happy to be getting married to Chad. He is the best thing that has ever happend to me! I love Chad so much and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him! xoxo

Road Trip

So toward the end of the summer and into the new school year my brother, Trevor, Becky, Chad and I took a little road trip up to Flagstaff to get some school books for Becky. Becky is doing some online classes at NAU. We had so much fun. It was nice to get away for the day and enjoy the cooler weather. We went up to the ski resort and were going to ride the lift but it was closed because of the high winds. It was a bummer because we were all looking forward to it. So instead we took some pictures, even though it was freezing cold.

My Baby!

Well I havent got to tell you about my little baby that I got about 6 months ago. He was born on Mothers Day and he is the best thing that could have entered into my life well except for Chad. He is cute and fluffy. And the newest part of the family. Everyone please meet my dog Banditt!!

He is a Siberian Husky. Isn't he so cute!

Tigger has a new buddy to hang out with now. At first he didn't know what to do when he brought Banditt home but now they just can't get enough of each others.

What I've Been Up To

Ok so I like posting with pictures but since our home computer is down I can't do that so I will just update everyone on what has been going on lately...

Well for starters, towards the end of last months my brother, Trevor, got married to a great girl Becky Miller. The wedding was beautiful and it was great to have all of our family together to celebrate their future as husband and wife. Their colors were pink and brown. It was so pretty. (I'll have pictures later)
Yesterday I got the privilege to go and vote. How exciting is that. Although the thing that wasn't exciting was seeing that Obama won. I was so disappointed. But we have to move past it and hope for the best, and hope that Obama will make good and right choices for our country! I am happy though that Prop 102 passes! Yeah!!!! Its sad that it didn't pass in Cali, but at least it did here right?
Oh I forgot to you that like in the middle of October my dog Tigger got hurt. So here is what happened...Me and Chad were heading to my house from the store. We walk in the house and my little brother, Colton was raising his voice at my mom, but I didn't know why, so i walked into the kitchen where they were and Colton was holding a rag to Tiggers head. I didn't know what was going on till my mom told me what had happened...she said this..."dad was sitting on the couch and Tigger was siting in front of the couch thinking something was under the couch and he wanted to get it. So my dad opened the recliner and lifted the couch back so Tigger could grab what ever was under the couch. When he went to pull out he grazed a sharp piece of medal and sliced a good 3 inches of his head open." (Not exact words but close enough to what she said) So my dad, Colton, chad and I ran Tigger to a emergency pet place. I didn't see how bad it was till we got there at Colton uncovered the gash. I almost barfed. But Tigger had to go and get stitches and a wrap around his head. When my dad brought him home later that night I was asleep on the couch (my niece and nephew were on my bed) and he just cried and cried all night. I felt so bad for him. You should have seen him, it was so depressing to see him the way he was. He had to take pills for about 2 weeks to help with the pain and the swelling. But now he is all better and can now play around with my dog Banditt. BUT You want to know what the stupid part of this whole story is...there wasn't anything under the couch for Tigger to get. So he got hurt for nothing. And now my mom calls him our Expensive Dog. CRAZY HUH?

Oh this weekend on Sunday we got the whole family together and celebrated 4 birthdays. My grandpa who turned 89, my brother in-law who is in his late 20's (last week the day after Trevor's wedding), my nephew Logan who turned 4, today the 5th, and my niece Janae who turned 2 on Monday. It was so much fun. Janae and Logan got a whole bunch of gifts (they are so spoiled!) But I love them. So Happy Birthday Grandpa, Adam, Logan and Janae!!

Oh and to add to my busy and crazy life I got laid off from my job in August. I was working oat a dental office in the front desk. I really liked it there but my supervisor didn't like me very much. Oh well I can find something better. I still haven't found a new one but am try my hardest to. So if you hear of any job opportunities let me know!

I am so sorry I haven't posted anything fo the last couple of months but I do have a good excuse. My computer has been down and that is where all my pictures are. So at the moment I am using my dad's lab top. I want to blog but for the mean time I can't. I have so much to tell you and show you. So be patient!! Chad didnt go to prom here in Mesa because he went up to Utah with a few buddies and went to prom there. It looks like a picture in a front page magazine, dont you think? My guys in the middle! What a stud!

Chads going to be going to school to become a fire fighter, and he is already practicing. He cant wait to get started!

Renaissance Festival 2008

Chad took me to the Renaissance Festival!

I had never been there so he decided to take me!

This Man was Amazing and really funny!

He grabed someone from the crowd and had him be a post so he could climb on him and juggle sticks of fire. It was crazy! Then after the guy got a free t-shirt for being so brave and risky. Chad and I really enjoyed him.

These two were histarical! There called the wildmen. And they went back in time 5000 year and pretended one of them was a wild men. If you cant tell what there covered in its called MUD!! They had a big pool of mud that they jumped in. All the kids in the front got covered in it. It was great!

I know right...thats me....on a elephant!! I was so excited when chad told there were elephants I could ride. I couldnt resist...could you?

Rock Band

For 5 hours these three played Rock Band.

Its kind of like Guitar Hero but you have the mic. and the drums also. It was pretty entertaining

Trevor was on the Mic. Chad my boyfriend was on the guitar

Colton was on the drums. He had to put pillows and blakets under his butt cause it was falling asleep and hurting really bad. It made me laugh :)

Cant you tell Im having so much fun....I was in the beginning. But then it got boring after a while. Silly Boys!

Trevor was really getting into it as you can tell. All of us were laughing out heads off. He had no voice after the 5 hours of singing his head off. He kept asking me to fill up his water bottle. He was so crazy that night!

What a stud! This was in Utah when he left for his mission, but NOW he is HOME!!!!

I was the 2nd to hug him, my sister beat all of us to him! Oh well At least we beat my mom haha!

Back with his most Favorite people his Sisters! I was so excited to se his it was so unreal at first! I am just so glad to have my brother home!

Trevor brought some really cool things home, one was a pan that is kind of like a drum. It makes this really cool sound and so Trevor decided that Logan would like it so he was trying to teach him how it work so he could have a swing at it! Logan thought it was so COOL!!!

Logan could hear the ocean through Trevor's Big sea shell. Logan said that he could hear the sharks and that they were going to eat us all! I love my little logan!
